I Should Have Learned My Lesson

I encountered another fiasco this year with the Picture People. Why didn't I learn my lesson last year??? For an updated on what happened last year, go through my archives and read the December 05 entry. Terrible!

So anyway, the pictures that were taken on Friday didn't come out, so I made another appointment for today. My mom and I took the kids to the mall at 10am this morning. They were both so well behaved for the pictures, no crying, total cooperation and I knew we had some good ones. We took pictures of Olivia alone and then pictures of the 2 of them together. Once we were done, they told us to come back at 11:30, the pictures would be done. At 11:30 on the dot, we returned to find out that the machine ate the negatives and the pictures were pretty much destroyed!!!!!!!!!! OMG! Are you friggin kidding me?? Could this possibly be happening? They told me from what they could see the pictures came out great...Oh well thank you for making me feel better you idiots! I know accidents happen, but why me 2 years in a row? My friend Stefanie is probably cursing me right now b/c she told me not to go there again and told me to go to Pocket full of Poses b/c they can super impose and make corrections etc. You pay the price, but the quality is that much better.

Anyway, the offered to retake the pictures right then and there and gave me stuff for free, 20% off etc. We retook the photos, but Olivia was so tired and acting like a goof ball, sticking her tongue out, putting her fingers in her mouth etc...and Scott was out like a light. We again took solo pictures of her and then them together. I waited and they printed the pictures w/in 15 minutes. Some did come out pretty cute, not as good as the originals, but I ended up buying them b/c once again, these are my Christmas presents! I was so upset that I thought I was going to cry, but I am laughing now b/c I should have learned my lesson.

The pictures are of the kids just at home with the outfits they wore for the pictures. For Olivia's solo pics she wore what you see here in the pictures and then for the ones of them together, I took the sweater off of her and she just wore a long sleeve pink shirt to go with his long sleeve blue shirt and his socks match her tights.

I think I captured some pictures of Scott smiling on the couch. I know they are not real, but for the amount of gas this kid has, I have to get some smile pictures! I can't believe his a month old today! Time goes by way, way too fast.
