Back to the daily grind

Boo Hoo. The holidays are over...Olivia finally went back to school today. She is tiring!!! LOL She was so excited to go back. She asked every day if she was going to school and I had to keep giving her the countdown of when she was going back. She was so exhausted from the weekend that she took a 3 hour nap yesterday and ended up not going to sleep last night until midnight! I tried to go bed at 9:30 b/c I was so tired, but she wouldn't let us. Erik ended up having to lay with her for a while until she finally fell asleep. I even tried to bring her into bed with us, but it was like she had just downed a pot of coffee, she was bouncing off the walls and I was afraid she was going to wake up the baby. Hopefully she is having a good day at school today.

I finally got my claim approved for the rest of my leave of absence today. My official day back to work is March 12th. It's going to go by so fast and I so don't want to go back, but I guess I have to. :( So until then, I guess I just have to savor every moment I am home and take advantage of the "stay at home mom" feeling for now! It's already gone by so fast. I can't believe Scott is already 6 weeks old.

Scott is doing great. Still on the Nutramigen, but I am not sure how long I am going to keep him on this stuff. I don't really find any difference. He sleeps GREAT, but during his awake time he is still pretty fussy. I have heard great things about the Carnation formula and it is so much less expensive, so I might try that. I still have my free case of Nutramigen from Enfamil, so I think once I finish that, Scott will have had his 2 month check up and I can ask the pediatrician her thoughts on the Carnation. Hopefully that will make a difference, otherwise, I just have to deal with the fact that he is a cranky baby and is nothing like Olivia was when she was an infant! At least he sleeps, I have to be thankful for that. Even when he wakes around 3am/4am, he eats and goes right back to sleep, so that is great!

Well, that's all I have for now. Nothing exciting coming up, but I am sure I will find something to write about!!!
