Aunt Laura and John got to entertain yesterday and we all went there to watch football, Andrew, Heidi, Doug, Lindsay, me and Erik and the kids. It was so nice to have a fire going in the fireplace. In the 13 years they have been in that house, I think I have seen a fire in the fireplace twice...since that room was never used. It was really cool.
I took some pictures, nothing special, but I thought it was funny how much fun Olivia found with an empty box. Her and Marissa sat in there for ever and pretended that it was a car. I told Marissa last night what a really great big cousin she is b/c some times you can tell she just wants to hang with us and not play with Olivia, but she is such a good sport and keeps on going with Olivia. Olivia worships her Sisa (Marissa) and it is just so cute. I had an older cousin when I was younger, Cindy, and I am sure she felt the same way about me.
Also, I have to ask, does anyone watch re-runs of Roseann anymore? I watched that show back when it was on in primetime and I have recently been catching it on like TVland or wherever during re-runs and I have been laughing my butt off. I have never realized how truly funny that show was. I don't think I appreciated it as much when it was on b/c I was younger, but it is damn funny, you have to check it out. I remember all of the episodes from when it was on, but it is now a whole lot funnier. I think I must have stopped watching it in it's last year b/c I caught a marathon of it not too long ago and I never realized how sad the last episode was that I actually cried (yes, Roseann). It seems that in the last season, they won the lotto, redid their house to make it all nice, they traveled, everyone was happy and their lives were perfect and then all of a sudden on the last episode of the show, it was all a book that Roseann was writing. In the last episode at the end of the show it shows her in the basement writing the story and then she walks upstairs into the kitchen and it's the old house again and Dan had died, etc, etc. It was really sad, but it helps to watch the older shows b/c it truly makes you laugh your pants off. LOL
