Pumpkin Carving Night

We had our annual pumpkin carving night last night at Grandpa's. Olivia and Scott got to wear their "Pumpkin Carving Night" T-shirts that their Aunt Paulette sent from FL. This has become a tradition now. Olivia is celebrating her 4th Halloween and has received a T-shirt every year so far and Scott received his first one this year. We love this tradition! We had 10 pumpkins to carve for Halloween night. There were some HUGE pumpkins. Olivia was hysterical and really got in there and got dirty. Surprised the princess girl wasn't afraid to get dirty. Everyone had a ton of fun. Enjoy the pics.

There are some pics from Saturday afternoon, Alexa and Olivia were invited to a Halloween party with Lindsey at her Gymnastics place. Olivia wore her 2nd Halloween costume of this year. She was a Care Bear for Jackson's b-day party and now a Lady Bug at this Halloween party. She has one more, so we will see what she decides for Halloween night!

A Taste of Bad Medicine

The caption is for how I felt the next morning...

Amanda, Terisa, Michelle and I ventured to the Bon Jovi concert in NJ on Thursday night. You know you are old when you can say that the last time you saw someone in concert was almost 20 years ago. I saw Bon Jovi in 89 for the Slippery When Wet tour, granted I was 14 and my mom went with me. LOL

Anyway, it was absolutely amazing and fantastic. Amanda was our DD since she has that little bun in the oven, but it totally did not stop her from rockin' out. She had a blast just as much as the rest of us. Maybe Michelle and I ended up having a little too much fun and paid the price the next morning. Thank goodness I had taken the day off from work on Friday because there was no way I could have done that. Poor Terisa went in, but she was better than Michelle and me and didn't partake in too many adult beverages. We should have followed suit...blah.

Enjoy the pictures. Now, to set the stage, it was very dark in there, so we couldn't see the screen on the camera until the picture was taken, so in our defense, the half cut off heads etc, were not just because we had too many drinks in us...some of them were taken by the sober gals too! LOL

Happy Birthday Ashley!

Wow! The birthday celebrations have been in full swing. It's non stop!! Michelle and I went down to PA with Olivia, Scott and Alexa to visit Steve and Diana for Ashley's 2nd birthday. We only stayed over Saturday until today and came home this afternoon. Although it was only one day, I am exhausted! It was great hanging out with Diana though and catching up, miss that girl. They will be coming up next month for Scott's first birthday since Diana is his Godmother. I feel terrible because Tyler and Olivia's birthday are right around the same time in December, so we usually miss going down there for his birthday and he is my Godson. We have to start figuring something out for that! Anyway, enjoy the pics.

Harris Hill Farm

Yesterday Sarah and I took the kids to Harris Hill Farm in New Milford to go "pumpkin patching" as Olivia says. The farm is fantastic and the view from there is absolutely gorgeous. The kids had so much fun, even the boys. They have animals there, a hay ride, a corn maze and an actual "patch" that you can PICK your pumpkins from, not like Blue Jay Orchards where they just dump the pumpkins that you sort through. We got some nice pumpkins and had a great time. We got some really great shots of Scott and Mason in the pumpkin patch and I think one that is going to be perfect for their invitations for their first birthday party together! Let me know what you think...

Happy 1st Birthday Jackson!

The 2nd 06 Boy turns 1!!! He was the first to crawl, the first to stand and the first to walk, but the 2nd to turn 1. Ryan and Larry had a costume party at their house yesterday for Jackson's first birthday celebration. It was so cute to see all of the kids in their costumes. By the way, their house is beautiful! This was the first time Erik and I had gotten up there, terrible, we are terrible, but we made a promise last night to get together more often! Anyway, Jackson, I mean, Super Man, had a blast at his party, walking around the entire backyard. Olivia dressed up in her Care Bear costume that her cousin Lindsey lent to her. Good thing we brought the Care Bear costume and not the Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz costume because once the sun went down, it got a bit chilly. They did have a really nice bonfire going, so that definitely helped. Scott had his Nemo costume on so he was snuggly warm too. We had a great time! I wasn't much of a photographer yesterday, not sure why, but I didn't get many good shots, but here's a glimpse of the day...

P.S., we celebrated Sammy's first birthday last weekend as you can see from my last entry and his actual first birthday was on the 9th and he took his first steps on the 8th, the day before his birthday! So he walking too!!! Gooooo Sammy!!!
