To Every Parent

There are little eyes upon you,

And they are watching night and day;

There are little ears that quickly take

In every word you say;

There are little hands all eager to do

Everything you do,

And a little child who's dreaming of

The Day he'll be like you.

You're the little child's idol,

You're the wisest of the wise,

In his little mind about you,

No suspicions ever rise.

He believes in you devoutly,

Holds all you say and do;

He will say and do in your way when

He's grown up to be like you.

There's a wide eyed little child who

Believes you're always right,

And his ears are always open,

And he watches day and night.

You are setting an example

Everyday in all you do

For the little child who's waiting

To grow up to be like you.

Brendan's Graduation/Scott Updates

Can you EVEN believe that I went somewhere without my camera! Ugh! Anyway, my cousin Brendan just graduated high school and is off to the Coast Guard! It makes me feel sooooo old knowing that he just graduated high school. He was such a little baby just like last year. Oh well, time flies. We had a great day celebrating with him and the entire family. Michelle and Sarah took pictures for me and will email them to me, so I will update this entry once I get those from them.

Scott is teething right now. He is drooling like crazy, but no tooth yet. I wonder...

He is also now holding his own bottle. I am so glad I changed to the Playtex bottles from the Avent bottles. They are so much easier and much easier for him to do himself since he doesn't have to tip it. They are the ones I used with Olivia and no washing bottles! That's what I am talking about! :)

He will probably be crawling in no time. He gets up on his hands and knees now too and rocks. So funny!

I will update with pics soon! Promise!

More Projects at the Staffieri's!

Now that the inside is so nice...they have started work on the outside. The front deck has been ripped down and they are going to have a brand new covered deck put on with new landscaping. I didn't take any pics of that though. They also took down the old wall that separated the pool area with the concrete/play area inside the fenced part of the backyard and are putting new stairs and a new wall and are putting in an awesome patio down by the pool where the gazebo used to be. Here are some pics of the guys doing the demo work. I will update as progress is made.

I also added a pic of the cute little bunny that lives in our backyard.

Father's Day

Here are some pics from Father's Day and my father in law's birthday celebration. We took him out for his birthday, which was Friday (which is also my sister's b-day Happy Birthday Kel!), on Saturday for dinner to celebrate his birthday and Father's Day. We also got to see a sneak preview of his book which he preciously dedicated to Olivia, Scott and Sam. It looks awesome and I can't wait to get our copy! I think this is the first time I didn't get any pics of Scott! Oops.

Yesterday Erik got to spend the day fishing with his buddies on Long Island Sound. As you can see from the pics, he caught a shark! Pretty cool. I stopped by my stepfather Mark's parents house with the kids to have dinner and cake.

Happy Father's Day!

Scott

Just in case anyone thought Scott was neglected or bored while we were away on vacation, no need to worry. He got to play and party too! He went to a Garden Party with Titi and Grandma to their friend Sue's house and got to play with Jackson! Since I wasn't there Ryan took some pics of Scott and Jackson playing together and emailed them to me.

I also added some pics of Scott from yesterday at the pool. This was his first time dipping his toes since the water is still so cold. He didn't like getting his feet wet too much!

Hershey Park

I know I have been late in updating my blog with the pics from Hershey Park, but I had to get all of the pictures together and I have not yet unpacked, done laundry or put my house back together yet either! Ugh, I need a vacation from my vacation! LOL

Well, the voyage started out rough, of course, that's what happens when the Spiegels and the Neales go on vacation together...Griswald Vacation as we say! It started out as a competition with the GPS systems, TomTom verse the Magellan. Guess you had to be there. Anywho, Sarah and I left with the girls about 20 minutes or so after Erik and Mike and we stopped for a half hour along the way for lunch and we arrived at the hotel about an hour before they did! Erik's TomTom gave him a tour of the East Coast and the bridges and the city before getting them to PA. Sorry, can't laugh about that anymore since they were quite aggravated by the time they got there on Friday afternoon. They then went on their shopping trip for 3 hours to get stocked up for the hotel, Sarah and I took the girls to the pool at the hotel. We then ordered take out for the night and went to bed. Saturday we hung out by the pool all day and oops despite the warnings from the guys, Sarah and I got sunburned...BAD! We suffered for the rest of the weekend and triedto suffer in silence so we didn't get yelled yet. It was hard. We went out to Cheeseburger in Paradise for dinner Saturday. Sunday and Monday were spent at Hershey Park. Sunday we did the park and the rides, the girls had a blast but were absolutey exhausted. We knew we had to bring the stroller the next day, especially for Olivia since she just couldn't keep up and kept wanting to be carried. Sarah and I have nicknamed her Olive Oil since she is so skinny and lanky! You feel like her hand is going to break b/c it is so frail when you are holding her hand.

Monday we went back to the park and we did the tour of Chocolate World. We saw a really cool 3D movie and toured the factory. We then went through the Zoo and went to the rides again and let the girls go in the water park. They were definitely exhausted after this day since we stayed until 9pm.

We left Tuesday and back to the grind on Wednesday... :(

Scott's a big boy!!!

Scott now sits up all by himself. He has been doing it for about 2 weeks now, but now officially can stay up on his own with no help for a long time. He loves sitting on the floor with his toys all around him. So cute! He will fall over about after a 20 minutes when he wants to change positions and scoots around the floor. He will be crawling in no time! Olivia was 6 1/2 months too when she sat up on her own and crawled at about 8 months, so we will see!

We are getting ready tonight to leave for Hershey Park tomorrow for 5 days! Packing has just gotten under way. Scott is staying behind with my aunt, my mom, my cousin and whomever else would like to check in on him. LOL We will miss him so much, but we are going to have a great time with Mike, Sarah, Lindsey (they are leaving Mason behind as well with Sarah's mom), me, Erik and Olivia. Can't wait!

Here are pics of Scott sitting up like a big boy.

Zachary's Communion

My Godson, Zachary, made his first holy communion yesterday. There must have been about 50 children making communion yesterday so the church was absolutely jam packed. Zachary's Godfather, Tom, and I had to sit on the window sills, that's how packed it was! We did have seats at one time, but there were some elderly folks that were standing, so we did the right thing and gave up our seats!! LOL

We had a party had Michelle and Gerald's after the church to celebrate for Zachary. The day was so hot and we had a few sprinkles after a thunderstorm which cooled it off a bit which was nice, but it really didn't put a damper on the party at all. The food was great and we had a fun time. Poor Zachary came down with a fever and pretty much slept the entire party, poor guy! But he is doing much better today.

Enjoy the pics!
