Tuesday morning Erik, me and Tim took a drive to the other side of the island (about an hour and half drive) to go see the Canyons. I got sunburned on the car ride up b/c we had the top down and I only lathered my face with sunscreen not thinking about the open jeep so I now have a white face and bright red chest and neck. Go figure. Anyway, Paula's parents and their friend Anna also followed up to the Canyons. The elevation was 3500 feet. We started out at the bottom at 91 degrees and at the top we hit about 69 degree. We had lunch up there as well. What spectacular views. It was breathtaking. We didn't get back until about 6pm so we stopped at the top of our road to watch the most beautiful sunset. All of the locals come over to this side as well and sit at the top of this road, so it must be worth it! Erik and I then went out to dinner last night and came back and hung out and I was in bed early! Today all of the guys went out on the fishing charter. I gave Erik the camera, so not sure what I will be doing today, guess try to even out my tan now!
