Doug & Lindsay's Wedding

Well, it's official...Lindsay is now a Buttendorf!! Doug and Lindsay got married on Friday April 25th at Cafe Allegre in Madison, CT. It was such a beautiful intimate ceremony and dinner with just immediate family. What an absolute GORGEOUS bride she was...as you can see from the pictures. Doug was so handsome and they make a perfect couple, they looked like a wedding cake topper. Andrew's speech drew plenty of tears and was so heartfelt. Heidi read a beautiful poem and everyone was just so touched. Heidi also put together a fantastic slide show of pictures of Doug and Lindsay when they were young up to through until when they met. It was perfect and we all cried...as usual!

Congratulations Doug and Lindsay and Best Wishes...we Love you so much and welcome to family (officially) Lindsay. You are a perfect fit!

A Bridal Shower...For Lindsay

We had Lindsay's bridal shower yesterday at Aunt Laura's (the proud mother in law to be). Doug and Lindsay's wedding is next Friday April 25th. Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day. We could not have asked for better weather. I was not so great at taking many pictures yesterday. Scott was having fun with his cousin Sammy, so we chased after them. I got some adorable pictures of Olivia holding her new cousin Morgan. She kept coming over to her when Amanda was holding her and telling Aunt Amanda how much she loved Morgan. Then I got a really cute picture of Olivia talking to the baby in Aunt Lindsay's tummy and singing songs to the baby in the belly. It was so cute!!!

Congratulations and Best Wishes Doug and Lindsay! We love you!

Happy Birthday...to Me!

Well, no pictures...I had all intentions of taking pics Friday night. I brought my camera, but I left it the car, so there are no incriminating pics of the night. :) Anyway, just want to thank my BFF's/my work posse. I love you all so much and you are the best. The best troopers ever who lasted from 5pm until we literally got kicked out of the bar to trek home at 3am. I now realize that am no longer 21 and dancing for almost 8 hours straight truly takes a toll on the body! I am still trying to get back to normal 2 days later. No pictures of my birthday celebration from yesterday either with the family, a BBQ at Aunt Laura's, the first one of the season. It was a great day, but I was not going to take any pics of me since you could tell on my face all day yesterday how truly tired I was. I do believe that there is video on Terisa's camera phone of me dancing to some Grease song on the dance floor of Molly Darcy's and I so don't want to ever see that again and hopefully it gets accidentally deleted one day before anyone gets a hold of that. Hopefully it never ends up on YouTube! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, thanks for all of the cards and phone calls yesterday wishing me a Happy Birthday. I love you all! BUENO! (all of the true Big Brother fans no what I am talking about!)

Olivia's 1st Hair Cut!!!

Ok, so she's 4 and has NEVER had a hair cut, not even a little trim, so it was time. Even though her hair was not particularly long, but it was definitely very straggley and had to be shaped up a bit. I was on the fence about cutting bangs, but the hairdresser said no since her hair is so fine and wispy, just let it keep growing. The hairdresser cut lots of layers and shaped it up a bit. It looks so much better and so much more healthy. I can't believe how much curlier it is now. I thought for sure by cutting it all of her curls would be gone, but nope! The pictures don't do it justice. She wouldn't smile during the cut because she was so nervous and thought she was going to have all of her hair cut off. She got to keep a locket of hair for us to put her in her baby book finally. Then she received a certificate for her "1st Hair Cut". So cute!
