Pumpkin Carving Night

We had our annual pumpkin carving night last night and carved 12 pumpkins! Scott and Olivia got their annual Halloween shirts from Aunt Paulette and wore them last night as they do every pumpkin carving night. Enjoy the pics. Watch this weekend for Halloween pics!

Bronx Zoo

My mom and I took the kids to the Bronx Zoo today. It was perfect! There were hardly any people there and all of the animals were out and about. No rain until we got in the car to leave to go home! Scott was for the most part very well behaved!!!! He took turns with Olivia sitting in the stroller and when he didn't want to go in the stroller, he wore his "monkey on his back" backpack and it worked really well for him today and helped enormously!

Lucy May Buttendorf!!!

Heidi and Andrew welcomed Lucy May last night at 9:53 p.m., she weighed 7lbs 9oz and was 20 inches long. She is absolutely precious! I went to visit them today at the hospital and got to hold that tiny little peanut. She has the most beautiful tiny face and I kinda think she is looking like mommy the more I look at this photo!! Here is a picture of her at not even a day old.
We also got to visit with Doug, Lindsay and Tyler yesterday so I am adding some updated pics of Tyler as well.
Yesterday I raked up a huge pile of leaves and that kept Scott and Olivia busy for a LONG time. They loved it!
Congratulations Andrew and Heidi...we love you and your precious baby girl!

Happy Landings Farm

We finally took advantage of living across the street from this place! My mom has been taking the kids to the farm every day to walk and Scott absolutely loves it. We walked over tonight with my mom, the kids, Aunt Laura, Marissa and their dogs BeBe and Taz. Olivia and Scott loved walking the dogs themselves. The views from the top are breathtaking. It was great tiring the kids out!

Happy 2nd Birthday Sammy!

I can't believe that the first of the 06 boys has turned two. We celebrated Sammy's birthday yesterday with friends and family at Ted and Signy's. The kids had a blast. Olivia even had a friend to play with. Sammy's birthday was on the 9th. Jackson turns two on Monday the 13th and then Scott will be two on the 20th of Nov. and then Mason on the 8th of Dec. I have to get these boys together again ASAP to take an updated picture of them. I think the last time we were together they were about 6 months old! My how they have changed since then.
I am bummed that we couldn't go to Jackson's party today. Happy Birthday buddy!
Update on our place, the condo is the market officially! We put it on the market at 9pm Friday night and had one showing yesterday. We have had 10 hits on listingbook.com already, so if you know anyone, tell them! We have it on for sale and for rent or rent with option to buy. We had found a house we fell in love with Thursday night and were going to make an offer on Friday and found out there is already an offer on it!!!!!!! So upset, but we put a back up offer in anyway and put the condo on the market, so we will see what happens. Say a prayer!

Hawaii Day 7 & 8...Friday & Saturday

We are home now. What a trip! We were so grateful to have had the experience to go to Hawaii and celebrate Jason and Paula's wedding with them. It was amazing. The trip home wasn't as bad as expected, except for the smelly crazy lady who sat next to me from Honolulu to Dallas. Wow, she had the worst breath and there was no way I was going to deal with that for 8 hours so I gave her a piece of gum!!! Then she downed 7 Heineken's and laughed hysterically at the movie playing.

Hawaii was incredible and now that I am home, I want to go back. We bought a 3rd suitcase while we were there just to bring home everything we bought while we were there, oh and so we didn't have to pay the $50 on the way back b/c of the weight of my suitcase. :)

I will miss the roosters everywhere, the dolphins jumping in the water, the warm Pacific ocean, the sand that doesn't come off your body, the smells of the beautiful flowers, the rain that suddenly appears and vanishes faster than it came, sitting on the deck at night and listening to the crash of the waves, the one way bridges and the amazing mountains.

The pictures here were taken the last day when we left and I took some of the house we stayed at thanks to Jay and Paula! :)

Congratulations Jason and Paula! We love you!
