Olivia's 5th Birthday Party & Sleep Over

Olivia told me that this year she wanted a birthday party with FRIENDS at a "place", not a party at our house with family like she has EVERY year. LOL So I booked her a birthday party with all of the girls from her class and her two cousins Lindsey and Alexa at Young Chef's Academy in Brookfield. It was sooooo cute and they had a blast. The owner is amazing and she really knows how to hold ten 5 year old's attention. They learned how to make dough and made their own personal pizzas. We then had cake and headed home. Olivia decided to have a sleep over as well, but I had to draw the line and said that the sleep over was for cousins only, so Lindsey and Alexa slept over and I enlisted the assistance from the 3 older cousins Marissa, Katie and Meagan. They made gingerbread houses and their own sundaes. Olivia opened all of the gifts from her birthday party and I am pretty sure it looks like it was already Christmas here with all of the garbage we have accumulated in one night. I went to bed at 10:30 and I have no clue what time they fell asleep. Everyone slept in the living room and they were watching a movie when I went to bed. I came down at 8:30 this morning and they were already awake! I know Olivia had a great time and I guess I did too...:) Tomorrow is her actual birthday and we will do dinner and cake with family then so check back for even more pictures!

Scott's 2 year check up

It's official, Scott only weighs 2 pounds less than his big sister who is 3 years older than him! Scott had his 2 year check up yesterday and if anyone remembers reading about his 18 month check up, you will remember what a complete monster he was. Well, this time it was a different kid, he was showing off for the doctor and sat on the table the entire time and let her do what she needed to do. I was sooooo proud of him. When she pricked his toe to check his iron, he didn't even flinch! He did have to have 3 shots and that did not go over well AT ALL with him and it took the nurse, me and my mom to hold him down to do that and boy did he cry, which made Grandma really sad. Other than that he was great. He weighs 32 lbs and is 36 inches tall, yep, the size of a 3 year old. He is in the 90th percentile for both height and weight. Do you know how great it was to hear that? I have been hearing 10th percentile for the last 5 years with Olivia and she only weighs 34 lbs right now at 5! LOL
They did give me birth to 3 years 800# again to have him evaluated since he is not saying 50 words and is not putting 2 words together yet to communicate. I am going to sit on this one for a bit and think about it...any comments??
I took this picture of him this morning when he was half dressed for the day. Too cute!

Happy 2nd Birthday Scott!

Yesterday was Scott's 2nd birthday. Wow, 2 years has flown by. He was officially 2 years old at 9:22 p.m. last night and mommy and daddy were so nice to let him stay up late just so that we could give him special birthday love at 9:22. We celebrated yesterday and Grandma slaved over the stove ALL day long for a special birthday dinner and Bestema baked a special birthday cake which was DELICIOUS! Grandpa's birthday gifts were the hit of the night, cars, cars, and more cars and a cool track for the cars. He actually woke up this morning talking about the cars!
Olivia and Lindsey got to hold baby Lucy for the first time last night too! So cute!
Happy Birthday to my precious little baby boy! We love you more than you know!!!
