So I guess I haven't written an entry in a long time! I used to be so good at this but I just haven't been motivated lately to write or post pictures. In hopes that this blog will be around long after I am gone for my children to be able to come back and read all of these entries, I will do my best to update what has been going on since Christmas time...my last post! :)
New Year's Eve was very quiet which was great. Mike and Sarah and the kids came over, Terisa, Tim and Trevor and us! The kids played upstairs and we all just hung out and had some great food. I hardly took any pictures New Year's Eve, so here are a couple.
In January we celebrated Titi's birthday and Grandpa's birthday. Again, not successful at taking many pictures at all. Only got one from Titi's birthday.
On the last day of January I was laid off from my job with Cartus after 11 years! Totally devastating but I am learning that there is nothing that I can do to change this and I need to move on and look at the positives. Since I was given a good severance package I am going to be able to take some time to be the stay at home mom that I never was able to be. We will see how long this will last! :) Scott has been progressing since his 2 year check up. He is talking so much now and can repeat anything you say. He now knows his colors and makes the funniest popeye face when he tells you something. He is soooooooooo fresh with his big sister and wrestles her to the ground, but then there are times when they are the best of friends and play so nicely together. I guess that is a brother sister relationship for ya!
Last night Erik and I went up to Ryan and Larry's and got to out to hear Larry's band Vudu perform. They were amazing and we had soooo much fun. I have posted some pics from last night as well.
