Three Saturday agos... (yes, I know, remember the days when I would blog the moment something happened and now I am saying 3 weeks ago! ergh!) Olivia started the soccer clinic which is every Saturday for the next 2 months for an hour and a half. The first half of practice is running drills and learning basics of soccer, the 2nd half they play mini games with another team. There are about 10 teams and the teams are all co-ed. Although she hasn't been OVERLY enthusiastic about going, she doesn't complain and she goes every Saturday and maybe this won't be her sport but at least she is getting the team sport thing down and learning to work as a team. It has been nice b/c we all go together and for the almost 2 hours of practice, Scott plays on the playground the entire time and gets worn out! If Olivia decides that she wants to keep up with the soccer she can then play in the division next season where they have one night of practice and the games are on Saturday. So...we will see how all that goes. Anyway, I only took a couple of pics the first Saturday, not any great shots.

Olivia looks so cute in her soccer shirt! Kayla did this when she was 4, and she did not really care for it too much. She wanted to to go on the playground instead. So we did not do it the next year. But we are planning on seeing if Owen will like it better!-Kath
