We housesat for Aunt Laura and John this weekend as we do every summer! It's like our own vacation. We were there Thursday until Monday. They go to the shore every year at this time with their friends and the kids and for the last 5 or 6 years I have stayed at the house for them to watch the dogs and the house. It gets harder now that I have two kids, but it's fine since she has everything there I need, so I really only have to pack clothes for us.
We had an open door this weekend. Friday night was quiet, went to bed early, no visitors. Saturday my sister in law Amanda and Sammy came, Sarah and the kids (Mason and Lindsey) and Michelle and the kids (Zachary and Alexa). We hung out by the pool all day. What perfect weather. Sunday my cousin Trish and her kids (Katie, Meagan and Kyle) came over and hung by the pool. When Trish was leaving the girls did not want to go, so I let them stay and they slept over and helped my mom out on Monday when I had to go to work. Sarah and Mike stopped over for a little while on Sunday too and Andrew did too.
We had a good weekend, but long and tiring being out of routine, so home sweet home.
