Our morning started out bright and early! Poor Erik ended up having to sleep in Olivia's bed last night with her. Not sure what her issue was, but we got home around 10:30 from Andrew and Heidi's and she fell asleep in the car ride home. We put her right in bed, I fed Scott, got him into bed by 11 and then Erik and I went to bed around midnight and Olivia woke up screaming. She wanted one of her presents that she got, a Hello Kitty thing with chapsticks in it (as most of you know, she is addicted to chapsticks!), so Erik got it for her and she made him stay in bed with her. He said she was awake like every hour freaking out b/c she couldn't find the Hello Kitty thing. Anyway, they woke up early and we went downstairs to open gifts and she didn't even look at the tree and just collapsed on the floor crying saying Santa didn't come! She was so over tired. We finally got her to the tree and she realized she had gifts there from Santa. It was cute b/c this was the first year she kind of knew what was going on. My mom came over later in the morning with more gifts. My house is absolutely INSANE right now. Where do I put these things? How come Santa didn't buy me my house for Christmas like I asked???
We went to my inlaws later on in the day and had dinner there. Olivia stayed there for the next couple of nights to spend some time with her grandparents. Now we are back home and it's all over...All of that craziness and it's over like that. For some reason it really did not feel like Christmas this year. Everyone was saying that. Strange, but it was nice anyway. Happy Holidays everyone!
