Happy Baby, Happy House

Wow! He's back! What a difference the Nutramigen makes. I can't believe it. He is like a new baby. No fussing or anything. It's only been yesterday and today back on the Nutramigen, but it has worked! I am happy again, he is happy again, the house is happy again. I can't believe that I tried to go back to the regular Enfamil. I just thought that maybe it was because I put him on new bottles and new nipples, so that is why he is was doing so much better, but obviously his little tummy can't handle that other formula, so for now, we will stick with the Nutramigen. Guess we will have to work a few more jobs to afford this! LOL

Olivia has been doing great too with him. She is really interested in him and likes to play with his hands and feet and pat his back. It is so cute. I have a little portable swing that he was in the other night and Olivia was sitting in front of him talking, they were up in the hallway right outside the bathroom while I was cleaning the bathroom, and all of a sudden Olivia tells me that he is "spilling milk out of his mouth", meaning he was spitting up. He hardly ever spits up and he had eaten like 2 hours before, so I went to check and she had the swing up as high as it goes!! Oops, he was swinging a little too fast. She said he liked it, but I explained to her that she couldn't do that, but thank you for trying to help. It was funny, but obviously I need to keep my eyes on both at the same time, all the time! Yikes!

Olivia has been doing much better about going to bed at night. She is in bed and asleep by 8:00, but I am not sure what we are going to do once Christmas is over since we bribe her to stay in bed by telling her Santa is watching! LOL I know we shouldn't be doing that, but it is helping us keep our sanity right now, so it is working for the moment. I know we will be kicking ourselves later. Last night she went to bed a little late b/c she had gone to her big cousin Marissa's concert at Whisconier last night with my mom and Aunt Laura. Hopefully she will be ok b/c we are getting their pictures done tonight for her 3 year pictures and one with Scott as well.

Enjoy the pictures of Scott that I took just this morning. I took the one of him in his carseat with his little cozy over it b/c I absolutely love that thing and recommend it for any parent who has a winter baby. I bought it when Olivia was born since she was a winter baby too. You don't have to bundle them up in a snow suit or bulky jacket and it has a little flap on the top that you can put down when it is raining or snowing and it is also helpful when I bring him into Olivia's school to keep the germs away! Her teachers are very good though at keeping the kids away and the kids really don't even pay attention to him, so that is good.

I also like the picture of him doing his karate chops! Funny!
